- is funded under the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled Program
- commences before 30 June 2025
Who is eligible for a fee free traineeship?
Traineeships are available to anyone of working age. You may be completing a qualification as part of your schooling, a school-leaver, re-entering the workforce as an adult worker, or simply wishing to change careers. You do not need a Higher School Certificate or other qualification to be a trainee. To be eligible, you must be- An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen or
- An NSW trainee or NSW school-based trainee and have commenced your Smart and Skilled traineeship training before 30 June 2025.
They feature
- Paid employment
- A training agreement involving you, your employer, an Apprenticeship Network Provider, and a registered training organization like ANTS
- Structured on-the-job training
- A training program provided by a registered training organization such as ANTS
- A nationally recognized qualification upon completion of your traineeship
Traineeship qualifications offered by Australian Nursing and Training Services:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support
- CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- CHC53315 Diploma in Mental Health
